Not sure how to start a tweet? If you’ve just created your profile or if you’ve been on Twitter for a long time but don’t feel like you’re achieving anything, it can be tricky to know exactly what will make your followers engage.
Sometimes you just have to follow a few steps that have been tested and given results. To help you improve your waist game on Twitter, we’ve prepared some message templates that you can use. Just make the following changes to each one:
Fill in the spaces where the [TEXTOS].
Edit the hashtag (#) with your hashtag (for example: #formulasdetwitter). Hashtags make it easy to search for your tweets.
Replace @Profile with the profile of whom you will mention or the author of the text.
Reminder: Each audience is different, so you need to test these formulas and find out which ones work best for you.
1) Tweet sharing basic content
[TÍTULO DO ARTIGO] – http://url.com #hashtag by @Perfil
This is the simplest type of tweet for you to perform, but people often forget to include an interesting hashtag or the author’s profile. The hashtag may get more exposure for people who follow it (someone said #NoVaiTerCoca?). It is also very important to credit your source of information – be it the author or the website from which you searched for the article – on your social networks. This will show respect for the original content creator and they will be able to return a favor by sharing some of your content with their followers.
2) Retweet with comment
[SUA OPINIÃO] #hashtag – RT @Profile [Título do Artigo] – http://url.com
Typically, when you retweet someone, you can simply click the button and share the content with your followers. But if you want people to notice you on Twitter, ideally put your opinions on your retweets. To do this, when retweeting, copy and paste the original text, insert the acronym RT and the person’s profile (@Profile) and put your comment at the beginning.
3) Tweet problem / solution
Don’t let your [PROJETO][RESULTADO NEGATIVO]. Find out how to reach [OBJETIVOS] here – http://url.com #hashtag
Fear is a powerful motivator. No one who wants to be bad, fail or fail to reach [OBJETIVO] and be alone with the [RESULTADO NEGATIVO]. And if they fall for it, they will want to know how to fix it. ASAP. And this is the time you enter: helping them!
4) Tweeting facts or data
Did you know that [DADO]? http://url.com #hashtag
Do not leave out any data here. Find something relevant, new and that really intrigues your target audience. When they see this little preview, they will want to read the entire article to:
Understand why that data is true
What they need to do about it
5) The Recommendation Tweet
I loved this article by @Profile on [TÓPICO] – http://url.com #hashtag
Lots of valuable information about [TÓPICO] in this article by @Perfil – http://url.com #hashtag
This tweet can take many forms. Instead of simply sharing content (as in the first formula described here), you will cast your vote of confidence and show that you liked and recommended that content.
6) The Questioning Tweet
[PERGUNTA] http://url.com #hashtag
Like all social networks, Twitter is a dialogue. You should ask your followers questions frequently. These can be tied to an article you read or wrote, or even something more random (which still talks to your brand. Don’t go asking what they ate for lunch if you’re an IT company). Not every tweet needs to drive traffic to your website or blog. They can only be to engage and entertain your audience.
7) The Tip or Advice Tweet
[SUAS PALAVRAS DE SABEDORIA] #hashtag
[PERGUNTA] #hashtag 1.[RESPOSTA 1] 2.[RESPOSTA 2] 3. [RESPOSTA 3]
Again, not every tweet needs to drive traffic to your site – in fact, tweeting short advice that has no links is a great way to build a reputation and credibility. Such tweets have a high chance of being retweeted and will generate more engagement and gain more followers, so don’t see them as a sacrifice.
8) The Inspirational Phrase
“[CITAÇÃO]”- @Profile # quote
Everyone loves a daily dose of inspiration! It is not very simple to find good quotes and it is even worse to check who really spoke to you, especially on the Internet full of trolls. So finding a random quote that inspires you is something that will improve your day. Do this for your readers. Whenever you find a quote that you think is good, share it on your Twitter. Your followers will thank you.
Ready! Now you just have to start using these formulas and you will quickly discover the ones your audience likes the most! This way you will improve the use of your Twitter and you will be able to reap even better results with this tool. Be sure to comment and give your opinion on what you think!
