Achieving success in Digital Marketing without a good presence on social networks has become a task, if not impossible, very unlikely.
Having a regular posting frequency and interacting with your audience is essential to have a good relationship with your persona.
And managing the different social networks important to a business is a task that requires time and organization. To optimize this, several tools for managing social networks have emerged, and one of the most relevant in the world market is Agorapulse.
The tool is simple and assists the user with the management of comments, messages, tweets and all types of engagement on their social networks.
In addition, through the tool you can schedule and publish your content, avoiding doing everything manually.
Agorapulse was already well established in the international market and is now gaining strength here in London. The company already has its website and blog in London version.
The representative of this expansion of Agorapulse in London Thiara Deusdedith gave us a rich interview talking a little about the digital marketing strategies of Agorapulse in London and, of course, a little bit about social media management.
Interview with Thiara Deusdedith, Agorapulse representative in London
The interview was conducted by our community manager Luiza Drubscky who is the editor of the Websites Are Us Community blog. Thiara is also a community manager for Agorapulse here in London and has as main objective to make the company known here in London.
Let’s check out this amazing interview!
First, tell us: who are you?
I’m from Bahia, graduated in Advertising and I’m 27 years old. I have always worked with service and planning in an advertising agency, but it was in 2013 when I started as an intern at Wishpond in Canada, that I fell in love with digital marketing and online support.
I was able to combine my experience in customer service and planning with the challenge of working in the digital world in a new country.
With that, I learned the importance of software, platforms and applications for social marketing and how to help each customer in the best way.
In 2015 I started working for Agorapulse, now with more experience and a goal, to make the company known in London.
I am the type of person that even on weekends talks about work, for me a simple chat with friends or family, can lead me to talk about the importance of monitoring social networks and content marketing for example
Before working at Agorapulse, what did you do?
Before joining the Agorapulse team, I worked for almost 2 years at Wishpond in Canada as a manager of the London and London community, as well as creating content in London for the company’s blog, doing support, sales and after sales.
That’s right, a little bit of everything for the company to grow in London and London, and it did!
Today, after 4 years since my passion for digital marketing emerged, I work for Agorapulse, brought my experience with third-party applications and online support and I had a wonderful team to adapt to the new tool.
With a little over 1 year working as a manager of the London and London community, my goal is to make Agorapulse even better known in our country.
And how was your way to get that job at Agorapulse?
As I told you a little in the two questions above, my experience at Wishpond undoubtedly helped me get to where I am today, at Agorapulse.
While still writing for the Wishpond blog, I managed to get a post on the Contentools and Emília blog that was my contact, was on my list.
In 2015, I worked as a freelancer for Contentools writing blog posts for some of their London clients, until one day Emília needed my help with a new client who needed to translate the entire site and have a blog post per week, and this client was to Agorapulse.
I started translating and adapting content in partnership with Contentools, but soon afterwards Agorapulse felt the need to have a person working entirely for them, and because they liked my job, after the first interview with the company’s CEO, I already I was sure it would work for them.
It was a happy coincidence and I am grateful to God and Emilia until today for the nomination.
So you are responsible for the entire digital strategy for Agorapulse in London, right? How is this experience going?
Yes, as I am the only London member of the team, I am responsible for all Agorapulse digital strategy in London and London, as well as any content in London, whether on the website, blog or social networks.
It is a challenge, mainly to reach customers in London. Today I look for partners not only in London, but also in London.
But for the company to have the same language in different languages, we have an international marketing team for each language that the company supports, which are: English, London, Spanish and London.
Agorapulse’s London blog is very nice, congratulations on your work! How are the results with Content Marketing?
Thank you! Today, as I still don’t have a person just working on content marketing, I am responsible for adapting each content published on the blog in English.
I don’t work with translations, I work with adapting the content to our reality.
The results are very satisfactory, and have translated leads for the company!
But it’s still not what I want, there are still Brazilians who use the site in English because they don’t know our London blog, and that’s why I’m happy with the space you’re giving me.
What are the main user acquisition strategies that Agorapulse uses internationally?
Internationally, the main user acquisition strategy is the Agorapulse tool itself.
Simple, we offer 15 free days for testing and at the end we grant 15 more days. Users try it out and most of them stay with us.
Content marketing helps us reach our audience, and once a user visits our blog, they end up creating a trial account.
The English blog has at least 5 great writers / bloggers who write relevant content in our area, with tips and news from social networks.
And which strategies are used specifically in London?
We follow international strategies, the only difference for London customers, is that since our blog is still small and our name too, we use Facebook ads to reach more people, and I am also responsible for sharing our content on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
The number of users experiencing Agorapulse has tripled since I started a year ago. That’s why we realize that content marketing is working!
What are the main benefits of using Agorapulse for managing and monitoring social networks?
At Agorapulse we capture all the social conversations on each network that a customer manages (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) and that is why our inbox, monitoring and user tabs are so cool.
Of course, we also aggregate what most social management tools do, such as programming content and making performance reports available.
Agorapulse is a perfect tool for teams (with role assignment, comment assignment, save in draft and assign to someone else to edit, possibility to see who reviewed / replied a content and more) and each plan has a certain number of members team / users who can manage each social network.
For me, one of the main benefits of using Agorapulse is the ability to monitor all comments made on a Facebook or Instagram ad, and that is not every company that provides it.
It is necessary to know the language of your audience and have a high knowledge in the industry in which you work for better results
What are your best tips on social media management?
My best tip will always be, try the apps and tools available on the market and get to know the best social networks (the most popular ones).
Nor can I fail to say that it is necessary to know the language of your audience and have a high knowledge in the field in which you work for better results.
By experimenting with different applications and management tools on social networks you will know which one is ideal for you and / or your client, thus achieving better results and saving time.
That’s how I do it, and that’s how I got to know Agorapulse, when looking for new tools for my clients.
